Benefit Advisors Network Holds Conference in Boston
Focused on Smart Partner
® Growth and Managing Health Care Reform
CLEVELAND, OH (7/26/10) - More than 130 Smart Partner® executives from 35 member agencies will take part in Benefit Advisors Network’s (BAN) Educational Conference being held August 8-10 at the Liberty Hotel in Boston.
The focus of the two-day conference will be discussions centered on development of practical strategies in the wake of health care reform - as well as sharing proven methods that propel growth in spite of economic downturns.
Keynote presenters at the conference are Rob Lieblein, strategic planning specialist and investment banker with Hales & Company, and Peter Marathas, a nationally known expert on employment law and health care reform, from Proskauer Rose, LLP. Their individual and joint presentations will offer suggestions for handling the new legislation- and unique strategies for the Smart Partners® to differentiate themselves while adding greater value for clients.
"In addition to expert partners like Peter and Rob, the intellectual exchange of ideas and experiences between our member firms is particularly beneficial – especially given the confusion and changes brought about by health care reform,” said Benefit Advisors Network Director Deane Elek.
Elek continues, “While other brokerage firms may be wondering if they will have a future in the benefits industry, our Smart Partners® are energized, collaborating and developing opportunities for managing health care reform and the economic downturn. What some agencies see as a crisis, our members see as an opportunity to build growth and ensure ongoing stability."
The conference program includes breakout sessions and presentations showcasing best practices, case studies, and proven growth and profitability strategies. They will also roll out two technology resources that have been much anticipated and will be proprietary to BAN members.
The last thing on the agenda will be the announcement of the location for the next Educational Conference to be held February 13-15, 2011.
