Benefit Advisors Network Holds Special Meeting in Chicago to Examine Potential Impact of Healthcare Reform
CLEVELAND, OH (7/29/09) --- Benefit Advisors Network (BAN) recently held a special meeting to examine how the economy and healthcare reform may impact their clients and their businesses.
“While the economic recession seems to be abating somewhat, the impact of continuing layoffs and employers’ reluctance to spend, coupled with proposed healthcare reform, could have major implications for every firm in the employee benefits business,” explains Dave Morgan of Seitlin Benefits, one of BAN’s member firms and co-chair of BAN’s Strategic Planning Committee.
Morgan adds, “As always, BAN has been on top of this issue and presented the owners of its member agencies with information that is vital to their continued growth.”
Information discussed during the special meeting will be delivered to the larger membership at BAN’s semi-annual conference, to be held in Minneapolis from August 9 – 11.
