Smart Partners Featured Partner - Clark & Lavey Benefits Solutions, Inc.

Clark & Lavey Benefits Solutions, Inc. has been a member of BAN since 2005. During that time we have had the opportunity to work with a number of BAN firms; collaborating with other member firms to join forces in submitting proposals, leveraging the talents of other BAN members to offer additional services fee-based to our clients, and sharing information and materials. Last fall we held a client seminar on Strategic Employee Benefit Planning. The topic was one that had been held earlier by CPI-HR. Staff member, Kristi Jancar was enormously helpful to us sharing their materials and graciously giving us her time to discuss their experiences, processes, timelines, and end results.  From that information, we determined that the seminar was one that would fit well as a launching point for our new HR Practice Leader and Vice President of Human Resources, Laurie Glaude. Strategic Planning is an area where Laurie has considerable experience. She adapted the content for our use and even obtained HRCI certification credits for the seminar. However, she did not have to re-create the wheel. This afforded her the opportunity to focus on other things, saving a considerable amount of time. The seminar was attended by both clients and prospects. The feedback was very positive and was a great success.  Two prospects who attended were close to signing with us. The seminar was a great forum for them to see the caliber of services Clark & Lavey provides. By the end of the day, both companies gave us the news they were signing on. We believe the exchange of ideas and materials along with the collaborative efforts that we have fostered over the years with our BAN partners has played a valuable role in our success and we are proud to be members.
